Medical students who are presenting their research can be considered for a travel award. Support will be approved for up to 50% of travel and conference expenses, not to exceed $500.00. Students will receive their educational outreach payment AFTER presentations have been made and AFTER receipts have been uploaded to the application. Please note that we cannot issue reimbursements for conferences that take place after the student's graduation as an M4 in May.
We will submit your travel reimbursement through your student financial account with the bursar’s office. If your account balance is at zero (nothing is owed toward tuition), the reimbursement will be refunded to you. If your account balance is not zero, it is possible that this reimbursement will impact your financial aid offer and you may not receive it as a refund.
